Cinestill BwXX 250 is a medium-speed black-and-white film with strong contrast and moderately high grain for its film speed. This is Cinestill's repackaging of the classic Kodak XX motion picture film stock for use in still cameras and is a nice, slightly slower alternative to films like HP5+ and Tri-X. 
 
This film is advertised as having a variable base film speed with 250 being the most commonly used. We see best results from this film when rated at 250 or slightly under.
